Item Description
Structure Consists of a methoxy (OCH3) group at one end of the PEG chain and a succinimidyl carbonate (SC) group at the other end. The SC group is highly reactive with primary amines (-NH2) to form stable urethane bonds.
Reactivity The SC group reacts efficiently with primary amines under mild conditions (pH 7-8.5), forming stable covalent bonds. This makes mPEG-SC ideal for bioconjugation applications.
