Description
Vitamin D2(Ergocalciferol)is a white or slightly yellowish, crystalline powder or white or almost white crystals. It is practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, soluble in fatty oils. It is sensitive to air, heat and light. Solutions in volatile solvents are unstable and are to be used immediately.
