It is a kind of antibacterial antibiotic belonging to truncated Pleurotus, which is a derivative of truncated Pleurotus, but it can also kill sensitive bacteria at very high concentrations. Like macrolide antibiotics, temolin fumarate inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to ribosomal 50S subunit.
Description
It is white or off white crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless. Soluble in methanol or ethanol, soluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, almost insoluble in hexane.
Application
It can be used for chronic respiratory diseases in chickens, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae pneumonia and Hemophilus pleuropneumonia. It can also be used for diarrhea caused by Treponema hyopneumoniae.
