Tertiary-butylated triphenyl phosphate (same as Supresta Phosflex R71B) is a highly effective flame retardant plasticizer with good compatibility with PVC and other materials such as PPO and PC/ABS alloys. When tert-butyl phosphate is considered as a conventional plasticizer, it can balance the flame retardancy and plasticizing efficiency of the system. Its high thermal stability allows it to be used as a flame retardant for engineering plastics and can also improve the melting properties of plastics.
