Introduction

C18H15O4P

Tert-butylated Triphenyl Phosphate (same as Supresta’s phosflexR71B) is a highly effective flame retardant plasticizer with good compatibility with PVC and other alloys such as PPO and PC/ABS. When tert-butylated phosphate ester is considered as a conventional plasticizer, it balances the flame retardancy and plasticizing efficacy of the system. Its high thermal stability allows it to be used as a flame retardant for engineering plastics and also improves the melt properties of the plastic.
