Description
It is a light yellow powder. It is insoluble in anhydrous methanol and ethanol, and is insoluble in organic solvents such as ether, acetone, benzene, petroleum ether, etc., and is easily soluble in aqueous methanol, aqueous ethanol, glacial acetic acid, acetic anhydride, pyridine, and the like. Hydrochloric acid is added to the tea saponin solution, and when it is acidic, the saponin precipitates.
Application
