Nature

The main component was triglyceride of fatty acid. The fatty acid component (%): myristic acid 2~8, palmitic acid 24~37, stearic acid 14~29, oleic acid 40~50, linoleic acid 1~5. White or yellowish waxy solid with a special odor of beef tallow. Insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform, carbon disulfide. Due to the different preparation methods, usually contains free fatty acids, pectin and protein, such as for the manufacture of high-grade soap, need to be refined, remove the pectin and odor, improve color. The stability is better than that of lard and unhydrogenated vegetable oil. After alkali refining, decolorization and deodorization, it is light yellow to colorless liquid at 54 ℃.

Preparation Method
