Introduction
MT-D1036 Gloss is TGIC-free durable polyester powder coating, specially engineered for architectural aluminium and galvanized steel. It delivers outstanding exterior durability and excellent colour retention, and is a lead-free architectural powder coating formulated for long-term outdoor metal surface protection.
This architectural powder coating series has stable outdoor performance, suitable for building exterior metal components.

3. Pre-treatment & Application

| Substrate Pre-treatment | Aluminium: chrome-free / chromate conversion or pre-anodising. Galvanized steel: zinc phosphate or sweep blasting. |
| Application Method | Manual or automatic electrostatic spraying, minimum film thickness 60μm. |
| Powder Recycling | Solid colour powder can be reclaimed. Keep at least 70% virgin powder when recycling. |
Small batch-to-batch colour variation is normal. Do not mix powder products with different codes. Different substrates, primer application or big film thickness changes may lead to visual difference. It is recommended to use powder from a single batch for assembled parts. Clear or tinted clear powder cannot be applied directly over primer, only fully opaque colours are suitable for primed substrates.
