Introduction

1. Product Overview

This product is a thermosetting modified epoxy heavy-duty anti-corrosion powder coating specially designed for the corrosion protection of epoxy-coated steel reinforcement bars.

The product adopts imported two-step special epoxy resin, partially functional epoxy resin, and a specially formulated anti-corrosion curing agent. With a unique formulation design, it has been tested and practically applied by authoritative organizations.

It features excellent reactivity, extremely strong adhesion, good toughness and bendability, as well as outstanding resistance to chemicals, solvents, cathodic disbondment, and impact.

Surface Pretreatment Requirements

Oxide scale on the steel reinforcement surface must be completely removed, exposing the original metallic surface color.

The surface roughness treatment quality shall comply with relevant standards. A surface roughness of 50-70 μm is recommended.

The rust removal grade shall reach Sa2½ grade (GB/T 8923), with no oxides or other contaminants remaining on the steel surface.

The preheating temperature should be controlled between 220-245℃.

4. Safety and Hygiene

This product is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and non-flammable. However, appropriate protective measures should be taken to prevent excessive inhalation during construction and application.

5. Packaging, Storage and Transportation

The product is packed in cardboard cartons with polyethylene inner bags.

Net weight: 25 kg per package.

Store in a dry, ventilated, and clean environment below 30℃ for up to 12 months. Keep away from fire sources and heating equipment.

After opening, any unused powder must be resealed properly to prevent moisture absorption from the air.

Protect from direct sunlight and rain. When the ambient temperature exceeds 35℃, appropriate insulation measures should be taken during storage and transportation.
