Introduction

Pure polyester powder coating is built on carboxyl polyester resin and valued for its weather resistance and physical-mechanical properties. It is the classic weather-resistant powder: a 100% polyester system that protects exterior metal for the long term, in a broad range of colours.

Main Features

Carboxyl polyester resin base with good weather resistance and physical-mechanical properties, delivering durable, long-lasting protection. This is the conventional weather-resistant powder for outdoor metal.

Main Application Fields

Suitable for nearly all exterior metal parts — air-conditioner casings, architectural aluminium, automobiles, motorcycles, bicycle parts, agricultural machinery, highway guardrails, park facilities, outdoor signage and lighting fixtures. It gives reliable outdoor protection and a wide decorative colour range.

Practical note: “pure polyester” is a broad family, not a single weathering grade. Standard TGIC or TGIC-free polyesters are fine for mid-tier outdoor use, but coastal, severe-industrial or long-life architectural jobs need the super-durable / hybrid-fluorinated grades matched to Qualicoat Class 2 or AAMA levels. Epoxy and epoxy-hybrid versions chalk in sunlight, so keep this outdoors duty only to the polyester family. On aluminium extrusions, conversion pre-treatment (chromate or chrome-free) and film build decide the real service life more than the resin label alone.
