Introduction

Colorless and translucent liquid, odorless and tasteless, soluble in ether, petroleum ether, and volatile oils, miscible with most non-volatile oils (excluding castor oil), insoluble in water and ethanol. Stable to light, heat, and acid, but gradually oxidizes over prolonged exposure to heat or light.

Preparation method

It is obtained by refining petroleum lubricating fractions through dewaxing, desulfurization, deodorization, and removal of unsaturated hydrocarbons.

purpose

Used as defoamer and coating agent. Used for surface coating of hot food, food polishing, anti sticking, moisture-proof, defoaming, sealing, demolding, etc., it can extend the storage and preservation period of fruits, vegetables, eggs, cans, etc. It is also suitable for lubricating oil of food processing equipment, cleaning oil of food machinery, etc. China’s regulations stipulate that it can be used for preserving soft candies and eggs, with a maximum usage of 5 Og/kg。
