1-Propanamine, 3-(C16-18-alkyloxy) derivatives., also known as tris (Eighteen/Sixteen)-oxyethylene-N,N,N-trialkylammonium chloride, is a quaternary ammonium compound having an octadecyl/hexadecyloxy group and a propylamine group.

Nature:
-Appearance is colorless to light yellow liquid.
-Has low toxicity and irritation.
-It is soluble in water and has good surface activity.

Use:
-As an anti-static agent and surfactant, it is widely used in electronic industry, textile industry, leather industry and other fields.
-Used as an emulsifier and dispersant in the synthesis of certain specific block copolymers, it helps stabilize polymerization reactions.
-It can also be applied in the field of biological science research, for cell culture and DNA extraction.

Preparation Method:
1-Propanamine, 3-(C16-18-alkyloxy) derivs. The oxirane alcohol ether is formed by reacting octadecyl alcohol with ethylene oxide and then reacting the ether compound with propylamine to form the product.
