use is an important intermediate in the production of triethylenediamine, surfactant, medicine and pesticide. it can be used in the synthesis of psychotic fluphenazine, etc.
it is used in organic synthesis and is an important intermediate in the production of triethylenediamine, surfactant, medicine and pesticide. It can also be used to synthesize psychotic fluphenazine, etc.
Production method It is obtained by the reaction of piperazine hexahydrate and ethylene oxide. Dissolve piperazine hexahydrate in water, stir and cool to 15-20°C, and pass in ethylene oxide. After the passage is completed, the reaction is stirred at 30-35 ℃ for 2 hours, and the 90% of the original water added amount is steamed by heating. Cold to below 15 ℃, filter. The filtrate was distilled under reduced pressure, and the fraction at 145-155 ℃(5.33kPa) was collected to obtain N-(2-hydroxyethyl) piperazine.
spontaneous combustion temperature 280°C
