Methyl Polysilazane STD 8802(R)
Functional additives 2025-05-14
Introduction
STD 8802(R) is a Si-H bond-containing polysilazane resin that serves as a ceramic precursor. It cures under ambient moisture or heating conditions, exhibits excellent adhesion to metals, polymers, and glass, and can withstand temperatures up to 600℃ after curing. Through ceramic conversion processes, it achieves high-temperature resistance of 1800℃.
Features & Applications
Features
Low viscosity
Superior adhesion to most substrates
High-temperature and oxidation resistance
Applications
Ceramic precursors
Modifiers & functional coatings
High-temperature adhesives
Instructions
Curing process: 3-14 days@RT (depending on T/H) / 120℃/2h / 200℃/1h / 250℃/20min
Highly sensitive to moisture, O₂, and CO₂. Purge with N₂/Ar after opening and store at low temperature to extend shelf life.
