Methyl Polysilazane Precursor Ceramic Resin STD8808

Functional additives 2025-05-14

Introduction

STD8808 is a side-methyl 100% solid-content polysilazane resin that rapidly cures via heating. The cured resin exhibits excellent adhesion to challenging substrates such as metals, glass, ceramics, plastics, and graphite. With outstanding properties including high-temperature resistance, hardness, water/chemical/stain resistance, anti-corrosion, and weather resistance, it is widely used for surface treatment and protection in marine, chemical pipelines, nuclear power, industrial components, electronics, and new energy battery components. For ultra-high-temperature formulations, substrates must be heated to at least 450°C to promote ceramic conversion. Depending on the formulation, the coating’s peak operating temperature can reach 1800°C.
