Introduction
Introduction
STD8808 is a side-methyl 100% solid-content polysilazane resin that rapidly cures via heating. The cured resin exhibits excellent adhesion to challenging substrates such as metals, glass, ceramics, plastics, and graphite. With outstanding properties including high-temperature resistance, hardness, water/chemical/stain resistance, anti-corrosion, and weather resistance, it is widely used for surface treatment and protection in marine, chemical pipelines, nuclear power, industrial components, electronics, and new energy battery components. For ultra-high-temperature formulations, substrates must be heated to at least 450°C to promote ceramic conversion. Depending on the formulation, the coating’s peak operating temperature can reach 1800°C.
Characteristics & Applications

Instructions
Curing method: 220-300℃ for 1-2 hours
Compatible with aprotic organic solvents (e.g., alkanes, aromatics, ethers, ketones, esters)
Moisture-sensitive; reacts vigorously with water, alcohols, acids, and bases
Generates ammonia upon water contact
Periodically open containers to prevent pressure buildup (ammonia)
