Introduction
MDF low-temperature curing powder coating is specially formulated for medium-density fibreboard. It gives good mechanical properties and indoor decorative performance, cures at low board-surface temperature, and suits large-scale furniture finishing. It is not recommended for direct outdoor use.

Base Chemistry & Curing
Chemical type: epoxy-polyester hybrid or pure polyester. Appearance: smooth, sand texture, wrinkle texture and decorative patterns. Film thickness: 70–90 µm. Coverage: about 8–9 m²/kg at 70 µm (100% powder use).
Cure: board-surface 130°C × 10 min (a 120°C × 3 min fast schedule is also cited; follow the grade’s data sheet). IR preheat to melt and flow out first, then a hot-air oven or curing tunnel for final cure. Improper cure causes loss of colour, gloss and performance. Storage: sealed, cool and dry below 25°C; 6-month shelf life.
