Practical note: “medium cure” means the film is fully cross-linked at a lower part temperature, but it is not a free pass — the quoted schedule is workpiece metal temperature, not oven set point, so verify with a part thermocouple. Undercure at 150–180°C leaves a softer, less chemical- and scratch-resistant film, while over-baking risks the very substrate deformation the grade is meant to avoid. Match the exact resin system (polyester, hybrid or epoxy) to whether the part goes indoors or outdoors, and lock the line speed and oven recovery so heavy and light loads don’t cure inconsistently.
