Properties: Colorless gas, non-combustible and non-combustible. Can absorb X-rays. Gas relative density 3.736 (-152.9℃), liquid relative density 2.155. Melting point -156.6℃, boiling point (-152.3±1.0)℃. Critical temperature -63.81℃, critical pressure 55×105Pa. It has properties such as high density, low thermal conductivity and high transmittance. Krypton is chemically inert under all normal conditions. It does not combine with other elements or compounds. However, when a mixture of krypton and fluorine is subjected to discharge at 84K or irradiated with an electron beam at 123K, KrF2 can be generated. KrF2 is very unstable. It decomposes rapidly at 0℃. KrF4 has been prepared, which is an unstable colorless solid produced by the discharge of elements at low temperatures.

Notes:

Krypton gas is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-combustible high-pressure gas stored in gas cylinders. When the krypton gas content increases and the oxygen content is lower than 19.5%, it may cause suffocation. Bottled krypton gas is a high-pressure filling gas and should be used after decompression and depressurization. The packaged gas cylinders have a service life. All expired gas cylinders must be sent to the relevant department for safety inspection before they can continue to be used. When each bottle of gas is used to the end of the gas, the residual pressure in the bottle should be kept at 0.5MPa, and the residual pressure should not be less than 0.25MPa. The bottle valve should be closed to ensure gas quality and safety. Bottled krypton gas should be classified and stacked during transportation, storage and use. It is strictly forbidden to stack flammable gases and combustion-supporting gases together. It is not allowed to be close to open flames and heat sources. It should be kept away from fire, oil and wax, exposure to the sun, heavy throwing and impact. It is strictly forbidden to strike arcs or electric arcs on the gas cylinders, and rough loading and unloading is strictly prohibited.
