Description
White or off white crystalline powder, odorless, slightly sweet and bitter after taste, with light gradient. Mp171.4℃. 1% aqueous solution ph5.5-6.5. The solution is stable at ph4cchemicalbook-5. It is easy to decompose in neutral or alkaline solutions, and the decomposition is accelerated by light, heat and oxygen. This product is easily soluble in water (1:10), soluble in ethanol (1:50), and insoluble in ether.
Application
It is highly sensitive to Mycobacterium tuberculosis, has certain effects on other gram-negative bacilli, and has strong antibacterial effect on Gram-positive cocci (including drug-resistant staphylococcus aureus).
