5. Precautions
(1) The steel pipe surface must be free from oil contamination and moisture. Surface preparation quality should reach Sa2½ grade (GB/T 8923). The recommended anchor profile depth is 50–90 μm. Dust and abrasive residues attached to the steel surface should be completely removed by air blowing. The preheating temperature should be controlled at 180–230°C.
(2) The product should be stored indoors in a well-ventilated and dry environment at temperatures below 30°C, away from heat sources, corrosive chemicals, and chemical solvents. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight. The maximum stacking height should not exceed 4 layers. Avoid prolonged compression and ensure packaging remains sealed to prevent powder caking and moisture absorption, which may affect fluidization performance.
(3) To ensure complete curing of the epoxy coating film and achieve optimal anticorrosion performance, it is recommended that the steel pipe surface temperature be preheated to above 170°C, which can significantly improve the curing completion rate.
