Packaging and storage:
There are three main ways to store ethylene: one is to store liquid ethylene in spherical tanks under pressure (about 2.0MPa, about -30℃), and the storage capacity of a single tank is mostly 1000-2000m3 (storage capacity is about 500-1000t), referred to as the pressure method. Another way is to store liquid ethylene in cylindrical tanks under normal pressure and low temperature (about -103℃), and the storage capacity of a single tank can reach thousands to tens of thousands of cubic meters (storage capacity can reach thousands to tens of thousands of tons), referred to as the low temperature method. The third way is to store ethylene in underground salt caves at normal temperature and high pressure, and the storage capacity of a single storage well can range from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of cubic meters.
