Diethylene glycol butyl ether acetate has a very high boiling point, mainly used for high temperature porcelain baking and printing ink high boiling point solvent, also used as latex paint co-polymerization agent; due to the solvent volatility is very slow, low solubility in water, so it can be used as a solvent for screen printing ink, as well as the solvent of the printing glaze of polystyrene coatings; it can also be used as an azeotrope for the separation of alcohol and ketone.
