Therapeutic Uses	Antitumor Agent: Used in combination with 5-FU or tegafur to treat advanced gastric cancer.<br> Radiosensitizer: Enhances the efficacy of radiotherapy by inhibiting homologous recombination in DNA double-strand break repair.
Pharmacokinetics	Absorption: Increases 5-FU plasma concentrations by inhibiting DPD.<br> Elimination: Approximately 65% to 72% of administered gimeracil is excreted unchanged in urine.<br> Half-Life: 3.1 to 4.1 hours.
