Summary

Fully methylated melamine-formaldehyde resins deliver superior crosslinking efficiency with minimal formaldehyde release, making them ideal for high-performance coatings and industrial applications. Their high reactivity requires precise catalyst selection but enables energy-efficient curing processes.

DESCRIPTION

MT-803C is aspecially-designed hexamethoxymethy melamine resin. With its precisely controlled functionality,MT-803C

shows high reactivity to polyfunctional coating resins.lt is recommended for the application in conventional high solids and solvent-borne

coating systems. In comparison with butylated amino crosslinkers, only one-half amount of MT-803C is required to achieve superior physical and chemical properties of cured coatings, which includes fexibility gloss retention, hardness, impact resistance and MEK rub resistance.Among numerous types of methylated amino resins,MT-803C is the most versatile methylated melamine resin.

APPLICATION

It has been widely applied in coil coatings, automotive coatings, can coatings, wood coatings and general metal coatings.

Packaging & Storage Stability

MT-803C resin is packaged in steel drums of 240kg net. Under normal storage environment at 30°c maximum, the storage stability of MT803LF

packed in original steel drums could last 24 months after manufactured date.
