fluorobenzene
Category:Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients
Introduction
Product Name: Fluorobenzene
Product use: Intermediate for pharmaceuticals and pesticides
Pharmaceutical intermediate and pesticide intermediate.
Pharmaceutical intermediate fluorobenzene: colorless liquid. Melting point -42 ℃. Boiling point is 85 ℃. Refractive index (nD20) 1.4650. Relative density (d420) 1.024. Insoluble in water, miscible with ethanol, ether, acetone, and benzene. Prepared from aniline via G. Schiemann reaction.
Obtained from aniline via Schiemann reaction. Aniline is salted with 31% hydrochloric acid, cooled to -8 ℃, and diazotized with sodium nitrite solution. Cool the diazonium solution to -10 ℃, add fluoroboric acid solution to generate fluoroboric acid diazonium salt with lower solubility, and filter. Dry fluoroboronic acid diazobenzene and conduct pyrolysis. At the same time, the generated fluorobenzene is distilled, and the distillate is washed with sodium hydroxide solution, then washed with water, dried, and distilled to obtain the finished product with a yield of about 53%. This method consumes a large amount of boric acid, produces a lot of waste gas, and has a high cost.
Storage method
Storage precautions: Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Stay away from sources of fire and heat. The storage temperature should not exceed 37 ℃. Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants and avoid mixing storage. Adopt explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Prohibit the use of mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to generating sparks. The storage area should be equipped with emergency response equipment for leaks and suitable containment materials.
