Therapeutic Uses Bleeding Disorders: Used for prophylaxis and control of hemorrhages from small blood vessels, including menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, hematemesis, melena, hematuria, and epistaxis.<br> Surgical Bleeding: Prevents excessive bleeding during and after surgery.<br> Neonatal Intraventricular Hemorrhage: Used in premature infants to prevent periventricular hemorrhage.
Formulations Available as tablets, injections, and solutions for intravenous or intramuscular use.
