Curing Conditions
| Workpiece Surface Temperature | Curing Time |
|---|---|
| 200°C | 12 minutes |
| 180°C | 15 minutes |
Curing time begins when the workpiece reaches the specified surface temperature. Confirm the curing schedule against the current technical data sheet for the specific product.
Pretreatment
Metal substrates must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased before coating. For ferrous metals, zinc phosphating or iron phosphating may be used. Aluminum substrates may require an appropriate conversion treatment. Select the pretreatment process according to the substrate, corrosion protection requirements, and applicable environmental regulations.
Application and Spraying Parameters
| Parameter | Recommendation / Specification |
|---|---|
| Spraying Equipment | Manual or automatic powder spraying equipment |
| Atomizing Air Pressure | Approximately 0.5 bar |
| Primary Air Pressure | Approximately 0.5 bar |
| Spraying Voltage | 40–90 kV |
| Powder Recovery | Overspray powder can be recovered through a suitable recovery system. |
Adjust spraying parameters according to the equipment, workpiece geometry, and required coating quality. Use an appropriate powder recovery system and follow the equipment manufacturer’s operating instructions.
Coating Damage Repair
Surface preparation: Grind the damaged area and remove dust and loose particles using clean air.
Recoating: Apply the repair coating according to the approved repair procedure. The original guidance recommends reducing the spraying voltage during recoating; confirm the appropriate setting for the equipment and repair area.
Storage Conditions
