Introduction
1. Product Overview
This product is a thermosetting modified heavy-duty anticorrosion epoxy powder coating specially developed for corrosion protection of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel bars. It is formulated with imported two-step special epoxy resin, partially functional epoxy resin, and specially designed anticorrosion curing agents.
Featuring a unique formulation design, this product has been verified through authoritative testing and practical applications. It provides excellent reaction activity, superior adhesion, outstanding toughness and bendability, as well as excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, solvents, cathodic disbondment, and impact, making it an ideal protective coating for reinforcing steel applications.
2. Product Features
(1) Excellent bonding strength with the substrate.
(2) The coating film is dense, continuous, smooth, highly resistant to penetration, and has fewer exposed defects.
(3) Excellent baking heat resistance and high electrical insulation performance.
(4) Strong bonding strength between the coating film and concrete, providing excellent gripping force.
(5) Excellent toughness, allowing bending without cracking.
(6) Low melting temperature, high reaction activity, high curing completion rate, and excellent mechanical properties.
(7) Strong versatility and low powder consumption.
(8) Reduces wire-drawing phenomena during powder spraying of reinforcing steel bars.

5. Precautions
(1) The oxide scale on the reinforcing steel surface must be completely removed, exposing the natural metallic surface. Surface roughness treatment should comply with relevant standards, with the recommended anchor profile depth of 50–70 μm. The rust removal grade should reach Sa2½ level (GB/T 8923). The steel surface must be free from chlorides and other contaminants. The preheating temperature should be controlled at 220–245°C.
(2) The product should be stored indoors in a well-ventilated and dry environment at temperatures below 27°C, away from heat sources, corrosive chemicals, and chemical solvents. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight. The maximum stacking height should not exceed 4 layers. Avoid prolonged compression and keep packaging tightly sealed to prevent powder caking and moisture absorption, which may affect fluidization performance.
(3) Due to the extremely high reaction activity of this product, the recommended storage period is within 3 months at 27°C. If used beyond the recommended storage period, performance verification should be conducted before application.
6. Applicable Application Process
