Econazole nitrate is a pyrrole antifungal drug and a dechlorinated derivative of miconazole. It has antibacterial activity against Candida, chromomycetes, coccidiospores, histoplasm, Sporothrix, and Trichophyton.

Description

The product is white or yellowish crystalline or crystalline powder; Odorless. The product is easily soluble in methanol, slightly soluble in chloroform and very slightly soluble in water. Melting point the melting point of the product (Appendix VI C) is 163 ~ 167 ℃, and it decomposes at the same time when melting.

Application

For the treatment of cutaneous candidiasis; It can also be used to treat tinea corporis, tinea manus, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, tinea versicolor, etc.
