Introduction
Doxycycline Hyclate has a wide antibacterial spectrum and is effective against gram-positive cocci and gram-negative bacilli. The antibacterial effect is about 10 times stronger than that of tetracycline, and it is still effective against tetracycline resistant bacteria. It is mainly used for respiratory tract infection, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and urinary system infection. It can also be used for macula, typhoid and mycoplasma pneumonia.

Description
It is a kind of light blue or yellow crystalline powder, free of odor and bitterness, hygroscopic, easily soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone.
Application
It is mainly used for upper respiratory tract infection, tonsillitis, biliary tract infection, lymphadenitis, cellulitis, elderly chronic bronchitis caused by sensitive gram-positive cocci and gram-negative bacilli. It is also used for typhus, tsutsugamushi disease, mycoplasma pneumonia, etc. It can also be used to treat cholera and prevent falciparum malaria and Leptospira infection.
