Therapeutic Uses	Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI): Reduces symptoms like swelling, pain, and heaviness in the legs.<br> Hemorrhoids: Alleviates acute and chronic symptoms, including bleeding and pain.<br> Other Uses: Investigated for improving postoperative outcomes in cardiac surgery and managing pelvic congestion.
Dosage	CVI: 1,000 mg/day for up to 6 months.<br> Hemorrhoids: 1,000 mg three times daily for 4 days, then twice daily for 3 days.<br> Cardiac Surgery: 3,000 mg daily for 4 days, then 1,000 mg for 3 days.
Side Effects	Mild gastrointestinal disturbances, itching, erythema, nausea, diarrhea, and dizziness.
