Diethylene glycol butyl ether acetate

Coating raw materials 2025-05-14

Ethylene glycol butyl ether acetate is a high-boiling point, multifunctional diol ether ester solvent that can be used as a coalescing agent for latex paint. It has excellent solubility for a variety of paints, making it widely used in colorful paints and emulsion paints. Diethylene glycol butyl ether acetate has a very high boiling point and is mainly used as a high-boiling point solvent for high-temperature porcelain and printing inks. It is also used as a coalescing agent for latex paints. Because the solvent evaporates very slowly and has low solubility in water, it can be used as a solvent for screen printing inks and a solvent for polystyrene paint printing glazes. It can also be used as an azeotropic agent for the separation of alcohols and ketones.
Ethylene glycol butyl ether acetate series products can dissolve ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, grease, rubber nitrocellulose, etc.
