Introduction

Description

White powder or colorless crystalline powder. Melting point 147-149 ℃. Soluble in absolute ethanol, acetone and chloroform, almost insoluble in water. Odorless and tasteless, it decomposes rapidly in acid solution. Clotrimazole hydrochloride, melting point 159 ℃.

Application

It has broad-spectrum antifungal activity. It has good antibacterial activity against Trichophyton epidermidis, Trichophyton, Aspergillus, coloring fungi, Cryptococcus and Candida. It also has certain antibacterial activity against Sporothrix schenckii, blastoderma dermatitis, coccidiospores and histoplasm..
