Mechanism of Action	Reduces capillary permeability by stabilizing the basement membrane and interacting with biochemical mediators that favor endothelial permeability. Acts as an antioxidant and stimulates endothelial production of nitric oxide.
Therapeutic Uses	Indications: Used for conditions involving capillary fragility and altered permeability, such as diabetic retinopathy, chronic venous disease, and hemorrhoidal disease.<br> Combination Use: Combined with lidocaine or lidocaine and dexamethasone for hemorrhoidal disease therapy.
Pharmacokinetics	Well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Maximum plasma concentrations (Cmax) of 6-8 µg/ml are reached approximately six hours after oral administration of 500 mg, maintained for over 12 hours. Excretion primarily through the kidneys.
Storage Conditions	Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture.
