Pretreatment and Application

Substrate pretreatment: Metal substrates should be cleaned and degreased before coating. For ferrous metals, zinc or iron phosphating may be used to improve corrosion resistance. The original instructions specify chromate treatment for aluminum; confirm the appropriate conversion treatment for the substrate and applicable environmental requirements.

Application equipment: Manual or automatic powder spraying equipment can be used. Automatic spraying is recommended where consistent coating coverage is required. Unsprayed powder may be recovered using a suitable powder recovery system.

Application Parameter Original Specification
Atomizing Air Pressure Approximately 0.5 bar
Primary Air Pressure Approximately 0.5 bar
Spraying Voltage 40–90 kV

Coating Damage Repair

  1. Grind the damaged surface and remove dust using clean air.
  2. Recoat the prepared area and reduce the spraying voltage as needed for repair application.

Safety Information

  • Do not eat, drink, or smoke during powder spraying.
  • Avoid inhaling airborne powder and wear a suitable respiratory protective device.
  • Consult the product-specific Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for handling, storage, exposure controls, and other safety precautions.
