Introduction

BIS-(2-HYDROXYETHYL)-TALLOWAMINE OXIDE, also known as ADBAC-N-oxide, is a commonly used surfactant and disinfectant. It has the following properties:

1. Surface active properties: It has good surface activity and can act as an emulsifier between water and oil, so that the two can be mixed evenly.

2. bactericidal performance: ADBAC-N-oxide has excellent sterilization and disinfection ability, can effectively inhibit and inactivate a variety of bacteria, fungi and viruses.

3. Stability: It has good stability in acid-base environment, can play a bactericidal effect under different pH conditions, and is not easy to be destroyed.

The main uses of ADBAC-N-oxide include:
1. medical field: used to disinfect and clean surgical instruments, medical equipment, etc.
2. industrial field: used as fungicide and preservative, can be used in water treatment, food processing, pulp and paper, textile, paint and other industries.
3. daily consumer goods: used to make hand sanitizer, detergent, shampoo, facial cleanser and other personal care products, as well as home durable disinfectant.

ADBAC-N-oxide is generally prepared by reacting 2,2 ‘-iminodiethanol-N-tallow alkyl derivative with hydrogen peroxide.

Pay attention to the following safety information when using the ADBAC-N-oxide:
1. avoid direct contact with the skin, such as accidental contact, should immediately rinse with plenty of water.
2. avoid inhalation or intake, such as inadvertent inhalation or intake, should promptly seek medical attention.
3. in the use of the process to maintain good ventilation conditions.
4. Store away from fire and humid environment, keep sealed. Avoid contact with oxidants or acids.
