Pharmacokinetic studies reveal low systemic absorption (≤0.1%), with minimal adverse effects. The compound’s mechanism involves dual activity—fungistatic at lower concentrations and fungicidal at higher doses, making it effective against dermatophytes (e.g., Trichophyton), yeasts, and some molds. Its synthesis employs Claisen-Schmidt condensation and catalytic hydrogenation, yielding a white crystalline powder with high purity (≥99%).
