Introduction
Production method Obtained from o-nitrotoluene by chlorination and reduction.1.ChlorinationIn o-nitrotoluene, add 2% of ferric trichloride as a catalyst, pass chlorine at 50-60 ℃, until the relative density of the reaction liquid reaches 1.27-1.29 (50 ℃), wash with 5% hydrochloric acid, then wash with water, and finally adjust the pH with liquid alkali as 7. Separate out the aqueous layer, after evaporating the water, and then carry out decompression distillation to collect the fraction of 120-150 ℃ (5.33-8.0kPa). 120-150 ℃ (5.33-8.0kPa) fraction, cooling crystallization, filtration, to get 2-chloro-6-nitrotoluene.2. Reduction of hydrochloric acid and iron powder added to the reaction pot stirring and heating to 90 ℃, slowly add the melted 2-chloro-6-nitrotoluene, plus the end of the reflux reaction for 3h. Cooling, add liquid alkali to adjust the pH to 8, steam distillation, to get 3-chloro-o-toluidine.
