Introduction

It is a white crystalline solid with a melting point of 67-68°C and a molecular weight of 192.31 g/mol. It is soluble in most organic solvents such as acetone and insoluble in water. It has a pKa of 7.3 and is moderately toxic by ingestion and inhalation.
