2,3-dichloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine CAS: 69045-84-7
Category:Chemical Intermediates
Introduction
Product use: Intermediate of insecticides imidacloprid and fluazuron, and can also be used to synthesize herbicide fluazuron (Gaicao Neng).
Fluazuron and chlorfluazuron intermediate, used for synthesis of haloxyfo-F-methyl.
The use and synthesis method of dichlorotrifluoromethylpyridine.
The preparation method is to use 2-amino-5-methylpyridine as raw material, first undergo chlorination, then diazotization, react in the presence of CuCl to obtain 2,3-dichloro-5-trichloromethylpyridine, and then react with hydrogen fluoride to obtain the product.
It is also possible to use 2-chloro-5-methylpyridine as the raw material, first perform side chain chlorination to obtain 2-chloro-5-trichloromethylpyridine, then further ring chlorination to obtain 2,3-dichloro-5-trichloromethylpyridine, and then fluorinate with hydrogen fluoride to obtain the product.
The preparation method involves using 3-methylpyridine as the raw material in the presence of a catalyst, followed by chlorination and fluorination to produce this product.
Alternatively, 2-chloro-5-trichloromethylpyridine can be chlorinated on the ring to obtain 2,3-dichloro-5-trichloromethylpyridine, which can then be fluorinated with hydrogen fluoride to obtain the product.
