Nature

white or pale yellow crystals with a relative density of 1. 324. Melting point 54 C (56.5 C). Boiling point 244~245 ℃,139~141 ℃(1. 86kPa). Insoluble in water, soluble in ether, ethanol, chloroform, benzene, etc. Steam distillation can be performed.

Preparation Method

There are two ways.

1.acetophenone chloride method acetophenone is pumped into the reaction kettle, chlorine gas is introduced, and the reaction is carried out at 60~80 ℃ until the chlorine gas reaches the theoretical amount, and the low boiling substance is distilled off under reduced pressure, the mixture was cooled to below 5 ° C., allowed to stand, crystals were precipitated, and the product was obtained by filtration.

2.Chloroacetyl Chloride method dichlorosulfoxide is added to chloroacetic acid, stirring reflux, distilling out the crude product, mixing it with carbon disulfide, slowly adding to the mixture of benzene, anhydrous aluminum trichloride and carbon disulfide, keep the temperature below 30 ℃, refluxing with heat after adding, let stand, pour into ice water and dilute hydrochloric acid solution, filter and blow dry, crystallize with dilute ethanol, and obtain the product by distillation under reduced pressure.

Use

This product is used in organic synthesis, in medicine for the synthesis of hydrochloric acid four imidazole and so on.
