Production method
maleic anhydride and secondary octanol are catalyzed by p-toluenesulfonic acid to carry out esterification reaction at 120~140 ℃. the esterified substance is mixed with sodium chlorite and water to uniformly raise the temperature to 110~120 ℃, the pressure is 0.2MPa, keep the reaction to the end point (sampling and adding water, no yellow oil floating on the water surface is the end point), cool to 80 ℃, let it stand overnight, discard the lower layer water and a small amount of turbid sulfonate, that is, the finished product.
