It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, which has strong inhibitory ability against gram-positive and negative bacteria. It is effective against Staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus, Diplococcus pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, pneumoniae, Mycoplasma microplasma and some isolated bacteria.
Description
It is white or off white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, and the pH of 1% solution is 3.8–5.6.
Application
This product has medium antibacterial effect on aerobic gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacteriaceae, proteus, Acinetobacter, Haemophilus influenzae and morganobacter, and is especially effective on Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Packing and Storage
Preserve in an airtight container. If the substance is sterile, store in a sterile, airtight, tamper- proof container.
