Description
Sodium carbonate is also called soda ash, but the classification belongs to salt and does not belong to alkali. It is white powdered crystals, hygroscopic. Soluble in water and glycerin, slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, difficult to dissolve in propanol.
Application
Sodium carbonate can be used in the food industry as a neutralizing agent, a leavening agent, such as the manufacture of amino acids, soy sauce and pasta such as taro, bread and the like.
