Introduction

Metatrimethylbenzene and homotrimethylbenzene are produced by distillation of C9 aromatics as raw materials. Metatrimethylbenzene is mainly used as a raw material for the production of trimellitic anhydride, dyestuffs, epoxy resin curing agents, surfactants, and pharmaceuticals, etc. It can also be used as an extractant for the production of hydrogen peroxide.
Homotrimethylbenzene is used as raw material for the production of homotrimethylbenzene, antioxidant, curing agent of epoxy resin, stabilizer of polyester resin, plasticizer of alkyd resin, and 2.4.6-trimethylaniline.
